Greetings
from
Big Sky Country Montana
Here are a shot of my JEEP used all over the
state (where we are aloud to wheel places are getting scarce) 1988
Wrangler 4.2 L rebuilt at the 152,000 mile mark. Msd ignition,
Weber carb and a no name header. and a 100 amp alt. swapped in an
Ax15 tranny 231 t case. The front bumper is home made and tested
against lots natural objects and 3 deer. The roof rack I built in
day for 40 bucks (just could not see spending 600 for a Garvin.
The trail rack was gotten in a trade for some Rancho shocks,
they've been upgraded to Trail Masters. The shackles are home made
welded 1/4 plate as is the 1 ' body lift I also built my own
"4x4 posi loc " for the front axle if you want some pics
of that I'll gladly send them. Total cost was about 45 bucks, sure
beats spending 200 for one from the catalogs. The tires are 30 950
15 Cooper STT's they pull good and wear good one of the best I
seen. Another neat tested item is the home made "pull
pall" for about 20 bucks. works great with a High Lift. On
and off road communications include a am/ssb Cobra chicken band
radio, A 70 watt 2m vhf radio and a 100 watt 10m radio and a 50
watt state owned vhf radio used when I perform emt and search and
rescue duties for them. Future plans are custom made snorkel which
is done just got to get the time to put it on and a 4"lift
and some 33 in tiers and wheels |

This is a photo of Kingsley Foreman's HJ Land Cruiser which was used as the advance
chase car for Richmond Heavy Towing to take him out to the truck wrecks Hundreds of miles
away in the Outback of Australia. Kingsley says the following...
It is important to have some one get up to the wreck as soon as possible as there is no
open road speed limit in the Outback, the trustee Land Cruiser would get you up there to
start sorting out the wreck before the big wrecker arrived.
As the supervisor when I reached the wreck I would take over control from the local
police, from the time you get there till the time the wreck is pulled back on to its
wheels and the load is put on to another truck and sent on its way you have to take charge
of the wrecked truck and trailer plus the load what ever it is.
The whole job from the time you leave the depot in the city to the time you get back from
the Outback takes on a average two days, if you want to read more check-out my web site.
