West Monroe, LA:
Superlift's Black Diamond division has two lift systems and a variety of
related accessories for new Jeep JK Wranglers, including 2-door, 4-door
and Rubicon models. The Black Diamond 2" system uses thicker-than-stock
coil-spring isolators as an easy way to fit 33x12.50 tires. The kit also
includes bumpstop spacers; optional Black Diamond AT shocks improve
control and allow 2 extra inches of extension travel.
The Black Diamond 3" kit uses pre-set
coil springs to clear up to 35x12.50 tires. A heavier rear spring is
offered for 4-door Wranglers, and it can be used for 2-door JKs that
often carry loads. To control roll and yaw, a front adjustable track bar
is included; the standard Black Diamond kit uses a rear track-bar
relocation bracket since steering geometry isn't an issue.
Ride
and handling are addressed with new Black Diamond alignment cams to
correct caster and extended urethane bumpstops. The kit also includes
factory-style (greasable) extended swaybar links and relocating brackets
for the brake hoses and emergency-brake cables. Black Diamond AT shocks
with black boots are standard. Other boot colors are available, as are
monotube Superlift SS and SSR (remote-reservoir) shocks.
Several options allow JK owners to get
even more from their Jeeps. Front and rear Rockrunner swiveling link
arms -- made from .188" wall-thickness DOM tubing -- increase suspension
articulation. This design offers several advantages over arms that have
Heim ends: longer service life, greasable urethane bushings at the axle
ends, quiet operation, greater vibration damping and adjustable length
for dialing in alignment.
Swaybar Quick-Disconnects are another
performance upgrade. These threaded-type disconnects use
no-tools-required pull pins and feature greasable upper ends. An
optional steering stabilizer kit includes a black boot, and
extended-length Bulletproof brake hoses have braided-steel jackets and
Kevlar-reinforced linings for optimal durability and pedal feel. Other
available accessories include an adjustable rear track bar for up to 4"
of lift and eXtreme Rings zinc-plated diff cover protectors. All
components are backed by Superlift's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
