Review of Interco's Super Swamper LTB Mud Tire
If you like the Super Swamper TSL (TSL = Three Stage
Lug) then you'll love Interco's bias ply Super Swamper
LTB. Think of the LTB as the second generation TSL
with more aggressive features added to the TSL
design. One such feature improvement is an
increased offset towards the outside of the tire with on the largest lug of the Three Stage Lug design.
This helps to create added grip in mud or to reach
further out for better grip in rocks. Another
added feature is a re-design inner lugs with a stepped
design allowing better release of mud. The center
lugs also have a tread design pattern modification over
the Super Swamper TSL that give the lugs leading edges a
zigzag pattern for better grip on rocks.
With sidewall plys either 6 or 8 (depending on size),
this tire is extremely durable in all types of terrain.
New Super Swamper LTB Design!
The New Super Swamper LTB has
a little more length on the largest lug of the Three Stage
Lug design. It is in bias ply construction which made it
possible to get the extra offset which gives the tire
superb traction. The tire is exceptionally tough and
designed for hard off road use.
This monster is a 17x47x16.5 Super Swamper LTB.
That's 47 inches!

description of this tire:
What is the Super Swamper LTB...
The Super Swamper LTBs are in the same basic Three Stage Lug design as the famous Super Swamper TSL's but a little more aggressive. The large lug is offset more to the outside which gives the tire superb traction. It is in bias ply construction which allows for the more aggressive lugs and very strong sidewalls to better resist the rigors of hard off-roading. The bias construction reduces the chances of sidewall splitting when run off road at low air pressure. There are seven sizes available….sizes which are not available in the regular TSL line.

Great
offroad tire for hunting
and stuff. The tire has a lot
of road noise and has a
light vibration but that
is expected from a bias
tire.

Very
loud on the highway,
shakes a little but bearable. I
think they are better than
the Bogger in mud.

No such
thing as a overall 5 star.
But I miss this tire so much
I just put on BFG AT's and
the first sight of mud I
couldnt even stay on the
trail. I slid off the side
and even rolled it. These
tires worked so well I
forgot what mud did to
average tires. Can't wait to
get another set of SUPER
SWAMPERS!!!

I got some
of this for my 4x4 s-10 with
a five inch lift and done
lots of mudding and trial
riding with them. And they
are a good off road tire. I
would not use them on the
street at all.

Its trying but not
doing too well. You'd be

Average. Its
