Mastercraft Courser MT Mud Tire
The Mastercraft Courser MT tire is a
decent MT (Mud Terrain, Maximum Traction) tire for the
price.
The Courser MT is very similar to the
average MT tire on the market in looks and performance.
In the mud, it does decent while the tread is fairly new.
It's not the best in mud when compared to other more
aggressive Mud Tires but a little better than average when
compared to most.
Some users claim the Mastercraft Courser MT is a great
performer off-road with decent manners on-road. The
Mastercraft Courser MT tire features high void traction
tread (gaps between lugs) with a substantially deep
shoulder that resist abrasion. The center lugs are
designed for enhanced off-road traction and tread wear
with a staggered pattern for churning through mud while
outer, stud-able, lugs offer great traction as paddles to
propel the vehicle through the rough stuff. The
construction of Mastercraft Courser MT tire can be
described as solid and block-like. Compounds are
designed to resists uneven wear. Compounds are said
to be good for on-road performance and exceptional in dry,
braking conditions. Alternating scalloped shoulder lugs
add to the tire's self-cleaning abilities providing great
traction in deeper mud. Although the lack of sipes
in the lugs reduce on-road traction, they are designed for
abuse, which is sometimes a desire over a siped tire.
