Matt Coffee from Cobourg, Ontario Canada with pictures of
his 1988 Jeep YJ.
It started life as a 1988 Jeep YJ Sahara, 4.2L, Soft top w/ half steel doors
with the usual options.
Then I bought it.........since then I have done the following mods;
- 4" Procomp Lift
- 3" Body, including poly mounts
- Spring over
- Custom anti-wrap bar
- High pinion Dana 44 front w/ EZ-locker
- Dana 44 rear w/ Detroit
- 4:11 gears all around
- Custom steering & links
- Custom HD drive shafts
- 400 SBC w/ approx. 450HP
- TH350 tranny B&M Strip Kit
- B&M ratchet shifter
- NP231 T-case
- 38x15.50x15 Super Swamper TSL
- 15x12 Eagle Alloy rims
- Full Autometer instrumentation
- Custom bumpers
- Custom plate "1 BIG JP"
River crossing are a synch, in 2 feet of water my t-case doesn't even get
wet. Climbing hills, pretty good as long as they are not too steep. 1/4 mile times aren't in yet, I'm thinking low 14's.
The trail...works great until you get into about 3-4 feet of mud...then it slows it up!
