| What is Monster Jam?
Monster Jam is the premier series of live national events where top
Monster Trucks perform in front of 10's of thousands in live venues
across the United States and sometimes elsewhere in the world.
Events are then aired on national television, primarily on the Speed
Channel. Monster Jam was created by Live Nation (formerly Clear
Channel Entertainment) and the series is sanctioned under the umbrella
of the USHRA and competition events take place primarily in the United
States. Individual event formats can vary greatly based on the
"intermission" entertainment, however the marquee entertainment is
always the racing events followed by the freestyle competitions by
monster trucks. Monster Jam and the USHRA have taken the level of
Monster Truck competition to a whole new level of competition and
performance.
The USHRA sanctions the world’s most premier monster trucks including
Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Madusa, Bounty Hunter, Bulldozer,
Avenger, Hot Wheels, Monster Mutt, Superman, El Toro Loco just to name a
few of the over 100 different trucks that compete at the Monster Jam
events.
