About Bad Habit
Bad Habit was created when Joe Sylvester decided to start his own Monster Jam
team back in 2006. The original Bad Habit truck was created from Tim Tesmer's
old Carolina Crusher. In 2009, a new Bad Habit chassis is built for use. The new
chassis has gone through many different bodies and paint jobs through its six
years of use (2009-2014).
Joe has competed in two Monster Jam World Finals events. In 2013, Joe won the
Monster Jam Young Guns Shootout at the World Finals in racing and competed in
the World Finals XIV. He also competed in the World Finals XV in 2014, which was
his last appearance in the World Finals before he retired from Monster Jam.
World Record
In 2010, Joe broke the monster truck jump world record with a distance of 208
feet. Joe once again broke the jump record again in 2013 with a distance of
237.5 feet.
Retirement
In 2014, Joe retired from Monster Jam and monster truck racing to focus on CORR
racing. The chassis of Bad Habit was sold and turned into the truck "Quad
Chaos". |
