to a pirate theme for the 2007 World Finals, where it captured the freestyle
championship. The truck primarily tours with Grave Digger 16. Captain's
Curse was the newly crowned Monster Jam World Champion for freestyle when
Captain's Curse made a Huge debut in the Monster Jam scene. Winning at the
Monster Jam World Finals in March of 2007. Captain's Curse is the newest truck
to the Monster Jam circuit and is on the fast track to becoming a fan favorite
for years to come! It is currently
owned by Pablo Huffaker and driven by Ryan Huffaker and Aaron Basl, although
Pablo, who normally drives Grave Digger 16 is usually invited to drive it at the
Monster Jam World Finals.

Pablo and Tina Huffaker
Pablo and Tina think nothing of hauling two Trucks 2,000 miles in a couple
of days to make weekend events. Ryan, their son, puts down his notebooks
at Texas A&M to fly out to drive Blacksmith. When he arrives, it's often
to race against Pablo, behind the wheel of Grave Digger XVI. Tina is
Pablo's race team crew chief. She oversees all of the maintenance and
checks every inch of their trucks. She also keeps the books and works with
Pablo in the shop. USHRA hired Tina to take the photos for their weekly
web site.

As we watched this beast crawl up the RTI Ramp, observed the pivot point just behind the cab of the
truck as it worked it's extra flex into a great score for a 118 inch wheelbase
vehicle, we knew we would have to do a page on
this beast.
