Superlift Donates
Custom Jeep To Benefit Injured Service Personnel
West Monroe, LA: To raise
public awareness about our injured service men and women, the
Arkansas Crawlers 4x4 Club enlisted assistance from
Superlift and several other aftermarket parts specialists. The
result is the Warrior Jeep. This custom 2007 JK Wrangler --
donated by Superlift -- will be given away in a random drawing
on December 1, 2008. Sweepstakes tickets are tax-deductible
and cost $25 each. All proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior
Project.
Valued at $80,000, the Warrior Jeep caught the
industry's attention at the 2007 SEMA Show. Major
modifications include a 6.1L Hemi and a Chrysler 545RF
transmission, swapped in by Burnsville Off-Road using a
Hotwire Auto harness. The powertrain is completed by an
Advance Adapters Atlas transfer case, Dynatrac high-pinion
axles with Detroit Lockers and Tom Woods driveshafts. The
Warrior uses a 4" Superlift Rockrunner suspension system to
clear 37" Interco IROCs on 17x9 Walker Evans beadlocks. A glut
of accessories came courtesy of Mopar Performance, Street &
Performance, American Expedition Vehicles, Bushwacker, Katzkin,
Hi-Lift and Powertank. Painter Joey Hutson executed the
artistic tribute in DuPont colors. Complete specifications, a
sweepstakes entry form and official rules are on the Wounded
Warrior Project website at
www.warriorjeep.org.
The bottom line: Help a Hero, Win a Jeep!

About the
Wounded Warrior Project - Their mission is to
raise the awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs
of severely injured service men and women, to help severely
injured service members aid and assist each other, and to
provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their
needs. Wounded Warrior Project began when several individuals
took small, inspired actions to help others in need. One night
while watching the evening news, veterans and brothers were
moved by stories of the first wounded service members
returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. They realized that
something needed to be done for these brave individuals beyond
the brass bands and ticker tape parades. They wanted to
provide tangible support for the severely wounded to help them
on the road to heal both physically and mentally.
About the
Arkansas Crawlers 4x4 Club - Our non-profit,
four-wheel drive enthusiast club was started by just a few
friends in 2000, and now has approximately 70 member families.
Most members live in the Central Arkansas region.
We were inspired, as were the Wounded Warrior Project
organizers, to assist wounded veterans who literally put their
lives on the line for America. Numerous club members are
active or past-military, with one member currently serving in
Iraq.
The Crawlers thank the product sponsors that have made
Warrior Jeep possible. The Sweepstakes could not have moved
forward without the numerous manufacturers who donated their
resources and products.
