About Frank Krmel Frank Krmel, born on December 20, 1978, in
Roseville, Illinois, has been competing in monster trucks since 2002. He
started out his monster jam career as crewing for Jim Koehler and Chris
Bergeron in Team Scream. Koehler let him drive after five to six years
of working with the crew. In 2005, he began driving in Power Forward
full time, and was the last full time driver of the truck. He also drove
Del Scorcho in 2006, Hot Wheels and Team Suzuki in 2007, Donkey Kong in
2008 to 2010, Blue Thunder in 2010, Advanced Auto Parts Grinder in 2011,
and currently drives Cleatus from 2014 to current. Frank Krmel has
appeared in 7 Monster Jam World Finals events. He competed in World
Finals VI in 2005 with Power Forward, World Finals VII in 2006 wit Del
Scorcho, World Finals VIII in 2007 with Team Suzuki, and World Finals IX
in 2008 with Donkey Kong, and Cleatus at World Finals XV and XVI in 2014
and 2015. He also drove Blue Thunder at World Finals IX for an encore
and drove Advanced Auto Parts Grinder in an encore at World Finals XII
in 2011.
