Michelin XPS Traction Tire
The Michelin XPS Traction Tire is a commercial grade tire designed to handle off-road terrains. These durable light truck tires incorporate the same steel casing construction that has made Michelin's medium truck tires the popular choice of large fleets around the world. The Michelin XPS Traction (R) tires offer extreme off-road traction with steel casing puncture resistance as well as retreadability.
Features:
* Excellent Off-Road Traction
* An aggressive tread design and anti-chip compound help provide the off-road traction needed on gravel and rocky terrain.
* Steel-Casing Strength - Added strength and the ability to retread are just two advantages of steel casing — a feature that keeps trucks where they belong: on the job.
* Special anti-chip tread compounds with rib and lug tread designs provides a rugged platform for continual commercial service.
* Sculptured sidewall protectors help resist curb scrubbing damage that is common in urban commercial applications.
All Michelin tires have a Standard Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty, which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. See Michelin's warranty for details.

This tire has an all-steel carcass - no nylon or polyester cords. Super strong and resistant to punctures. I just wish it were available in bigger sizes. We have the LT235/85R16E's on our F250 4x4 and they get great traction on all surfaces. They're just not sexy looking, but in terms of $/mile, they are actually pretty inexpensive, which is sexy in its own way. They don't ride too bad, either, and they are relatively quiet.

This tire is the best for commerical application bar none. I ran this tire on a UD 1800 Flat bed and never had a single problem. This tire took every bit of abuse is was subjected to. Initially the cost is a bit more but short and long term the gains are quickly realized ie no flats or blow outs.Good longegevity.
