Description: Oak Tree Sportsmen Club - The trails around here are legendary. Its commonly referred to as The Pits. If you want to get a good idea of the trails, just visit our website and check out the aerial pictures. You will be amazed! The park is open 365 days a year. It is a ride at your own risk environment. Areas include creek beds, smooth hills, rough rocky hills, and some very hairy hills. Anyone can have fun here from the beginner to the advanced rider. Riding is open to Trucks, Jeeps, Buggies, Quads, and Motorcycles. It has been ridden for 20+ years and never organized so the number and length of trails is still undetermined, you could honestly ride the park for several weekends a not see the same thing twice. This area is otherwise known as Wellsville, Yellow creek, and the Pitts.

We have the best parking in the area! No need to tear up your good trucks, trailers, and campers to get to us! No dangerous railroad tracks to cross! We are right off the road. However we have plenty of trails for you to "tear up" your ATVs, Jeeps, dune buggies, and whatever else you can think up. If you want to rent a campsite for the year, I can clear off your space and level it with my dozer. No need to do that your self. I am always out making new trails and trying to improve the ones out here. We have a pretty good community out here. We take care of each other. If you are new to riding in the area, you will find lots of people willing to tell you all about the trails.

Camping Info: The campground is located close to the Ohio River in Eastern Ohio. 30 miles from Pittsburgh Pa. 35 miles south of Youngstown Oh. 20 miles north of Steubenville Oh. The best way to get directions is to use mapquest.com and do a driving direction from your place to ours.
Yearly camp sites are available for $500.00, Weekly rate is $60.00, Weekend rate is $25.00, Day rate is $10.00

Pros:
Cons: it is closing soon

He is closing due to sale of property but isn't being honest to his campers in order to make the most money before bailing out.

Pros: Very challenging and fun for beginers and advance riders
Cons: very rocky and can put a hurting on you and your machine

Very nice place to ride and huge. Can be hard to navigate your way around and doesn't have many easy access paths back to parking area and can be a headache if your machine breaks. I always love going to wellsville though always a challenging experience and fun nothing like you would see at other places to ride. I would definitely check them out if you never been there to at least experience what a real ride is.

Pros: great wheeling, very friendly staff when they are there. NOT CLOSING ANYMORE!!
Cons: campsites are nothing to be desired, road is hard to get to with a big trailer.

we showed up and signed the waviers at the little building and pulled up the hill to find a spot to park. took the quads around to find a nice spot to camp and from there out had a great wheeling trip the rest of the weekend. for a first trip to wellsville it was a blast.. BRING SPARE PARTS!
