Carnage Canyon Trail Colorado

Carnage Canyon Boulder is a 4x4 trail that is only about 1.5 miles long but well worth the trip it is an 8 rated trail that will test your rocker protection. To get to the trail take Highway 36 north from Boulder until you come to Left Hand Canyon Road turn Left (West here) an follow the canyon west for about 3.5 miles. Carnage is the first obvious trailhead on your right (FS 286). Follow the trail straight back for Carnage. You can turn uphill to the left before Carnage Canyon if you would like to explore Left Hand Canyon which is much easier than Carnage Canyon.

Directions:

Take Highway 36 north from Boulder until you come to the left turn for "Left Hand Canyon"
Follow the canyon west for about 3.5 miles. It is the first obvious trailhead on your right (FS 286)

Follow the trail straight back for Carnage. You can turn uphill to the left before Carnage Canyon if you would like to explore the rest of the area without the challenge of Carnage Canyon.

Pros:	nice obsticals
Cons:	closed, for good

it was my first trail ride. good trail sick obsticals. our rigs left plenty of paint up there. but unfortunatly it is closed now.
