I love my little CJ. It has 4.2L, factory P/S, P/B and T18 4spd with 29,000 actual miles. I put a GM style HEI distributor in my 4.2L and man, does it make a difference! Barn find in eastern Arkansas. It's not a rock climber or mud bogger. It is being used as a work Jeep on the farm. It spent this week skidding logs. My brother's 4wd John Deere tractor wouldn't even budge this huge white oak log. I chained the CJ to his tractor and we climbed a mountain side and then another 1/4 mile through the woods to a clearing where we finally got it loaded. My Super Swamper LTB's have awesome traction. Hardly ever spun a tire! All I need is Lock Right's front and rear and one piece axle kit for the AMC 20 and it's finished! Except maybe for a rear bumper/spare tire carrier! But you know how that goes!
I'm 62 and disabled but doing all the work myself so it is very slow going! All except the clutch install. I couldn't handle the t-case/tranny by myself. I've learned how to work smart instead of man-handling things like I used to!
I have the website bookmarked and I will visit often. I think my next little project will be the ammo box storage. I need a place to carry my guns and ammo.

Awesome find! Great example of a classic Jeep in original condition. That's a hard thing to find anymore!

Followup: MileMarker E9000 winch, LockRight front and rear installed. The winch works great! Makes skidding logs out of the woods a LOT easier! I haven't put the LockRights to the test yet. More later.
