Destined to be an American classic! Brute is here! Offering utility, great styling, and AEV durability, this is the AEV Jeep Brute pickup conversion. Countless hours of design have made this the ultimate conversion for any Jeep TJ Wrangler ( SWB = Short Wheel Base, LWB = Long Wheel Base (Unlimited), LHD = Left Hand Drive, RHD = Right Hand Drive) . Originally designed in 2002 (and a winner of the Daimler/Chrysler Design Excellence Award), the Brute is now available in kit form. Changes from the concept vehicle include an all new hardtop with increased headroom and two small skylights, plus a redesigned stamped steel bed that offers even more storage space.
The kit comes over 90% assembled, with an average build time of around 60 hours. Additionally, the kit can be purchased in various stages to meet your specific needs or budget.

You can customize your Brute build by purchasing select Brute Kit components. Or you can purchase the entire kit one component at a time - to spread the cost and meet your budget. So we've made the BRUTE KIT available 'a-la-carte' in the following 4 sub-kits!
Brute Hardtop Kit
Brute Hardtop kit consists of the Brute's precision assembled injection molded composite hardtop with rear glass and two small glass sky lights in the roof. Center console is pre-mounted. Top is complete but requires TJ windshield latches (from the TJ hardtop only) and dome lamps (removed from the stock 03-06 sound pods). Requires paint.
Brute Closeout Assembly Kit
The Brute Closeout assembly is shipped fully assembled, e-coated, and ready to install. This kit is useful for those who are building a Brute over time or who are wishing to use it on a competition/custom TJ type vehicle.
Brute Bed Assembly Kit
The final part to your Brute build or possibly for a tough trailer. AEV's all stamped steel bed in a work of art. Heavy gauge construction and solid engineering provide one tough truck bed. Bed comes complete with all hardware including tailgate latches and cables. Bed Assembly is shipped in e-coat ready to paint.
Brute Frame Kit
Wanting to build a Brute in your spare time without having your Jeep down for several weeks? Purchase the Brute Frame kit and a good salvage yard 97-06 frame and get going! Frame kit includes precision frame jigs, mid frame extensions, sleeves, reinforcements, and the assembled rear frame extension which even includes a rear winch mount. All parts are e-coated.
AEV has designed the Brute kit to be as versatile as possible. The kit will work on all TJ model Wranglers both domestic and export. The only possible exception are some of the CKD (Complete Knock Down) vehicles built in the Middle East, please contact AEV directly if you are interested in converting one of these vehicles.

This is a fantastic idea for a late model Jeep and the Jeep TJ ubicon woul be a great platform to build a Brute off of. I'm saving my pennies and one day my Rubicon will be a brute Rubicon. Thumbs up AEV, great Job on an awesome kit.

This kit is really great looking! Jeep people are ready for a real jeep truck.I saw the concept Gladiator thia past weekend.They need to plain jane it alittle and it will sell.

Buy a Brute kit,Buy a Jeep,Pay someone to install it,Pay for a good paint job.Would have to have extra goddies.How much woyld project cost? I would say 45K or more. The kits to high!
