This one works for me, has not failed yet and it's been in some muddy water. Moved it from my Chevy Blazer to a Ford Ranger.

I decided to give this a try as it was recommneded to me. I figured if Warn was backing it - it was worth a try. So far (knock on wood), it hasn't let me down for almost 2 years). I changed the cable & put synthetic rope.
Good value for the price!

This winch works good. It has pulled a 1 ton dodge out no problem. I figured out, DO NOT OVERLOAD IT THE LEAST BIT. It WILL damage the motor.

Heads up, does not come with bracket to mount the solenoid..

Just bought it. Have not put it to the test yet. I'll report later when I do. I did discover something though.. If you want to mount the solenoid other than under the hood or on your grill somewhere, be sure to order the solenoid mounting bracket so it can mount on the bars accross the spool, Warn part #26368, IT DOES NOT COME WITH A MOUNTING BRACKET FOR THE SOLENOID!!

I have tested it for 3 years now. No maintenance at all for that period. Pulled out Patrols, trucks, cars, Us, competition used on Toyota LC70... Great, now it showed some signs on low power but, with some maintenance it will be OK for a life time !
