Pros:

Good for farmers and construction workers. Good traction on and off road.
Cons:
Some road noise, but not as bad as any M/T tire.

Not sure what garages you guys are buying your tires from? I sell dozens of sets of these each year. If the tires were out of round the manufacturer would have replaced them. Your garage either lied to you or you waited to long to make your complaint. Yes they do make road noise, how about trying any other M/T type tread design, you will have the same problem. They are worth the money if you need a tire that is more resistant to stone cutting. That is what the -C stands for. If you have 20inch wheels then that is your main problem not the tire. I'll bet that the A/T tires had a solid or semi-solid center rib. This is what prevents your vehicle from drifting back and forth on any surface. You cannot compare these tires to an A/T they are not even similar. You were sold or bought the wrong tire for your needs.

I have put 40,000 on these tires and I have the ct. I have hated them from the start. I live in snow 6 months out of the year, this tire drifts on gravel, snow and rain, and slips on the highway, I have had bad noise problems, and worble. I rotate every 3,000, I had balanced and still crap!!. I have had BF's Goodyear, and others and I will never buy this master crap again. I am lucky I haven't wrecked trying to turn in the snow.

You are an idiot! And so is the shop that sold them to you! I have had no problems in snow, gravel or anything else. 20 in. is your problem and if you dont like them why do they have 40,000 miles on them?

Pros:
At least 95% of my customers have never had problems listed above.
Cons:
People buying this tire that do not need it. Expecting it to ride like an A/T or be as quiet as A/T.
If you have 20inch. wheels do not put luggy mudders on them. Your tires are already so wide that this will cause tire drift. The courser C/T or C/T-C is made for heavy duty use. The rubber is stiffer than A/T or M/T tires. This provides better mileage, but also can detract from some of the traction issues you are complaining about. In the winter you need snow tires if this is your problem. My buddy in Wasilla, Alaska only installs Mastercraft Courser MSR's. My best advice is to do the research before buying tires. They are a big investment and are the only thing between you and the road. Or at least go to a garage that cares about it's customers!!! I have been in business for 10yrs. and I can honestly say that I have never had a complaint from a customer who has followed my advice. Don't bad mouth a tire that obviously you shouldn't have bought in the first place!!!

I purchased a set of mastercraft courser at a few years back and I have loved them. They handle as well as the previous BFG at I had bought, the wear was better and they where about 40 bucks cheaper. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

I put 4 of these on my 96 Cheverolet 4x4. I do a lot of driving off road (Not Playing in the mud) working. I love um. I just turned 56000 mile on them and the right rear hit some metal. Cut sidewall out so I'm putting 4 more on. I think some of these guys put these tires on girl trucks and do all city highway drivin. You know the one's im talking about. Take the truck out and load it down with 3/4 cord of fire wood and drive it down the road at 70mph then rate these tires.

Pros:
Wears well, only needed 2wd in mud and snow off road
Cons:
Only come in C, D, E loads
I have owned these tires for over 40,000 miles. Do very well on the highway at speeds above 70mph. Pull well and clean out better than any other tire available short of a true MT tire. I will be buying another set this week for my new silverado. Guaranteed to out perform bfg at any day, any time in the mud or on the highway.
