I used the diesel addative in an old JD 350 dozer all summer, the machine oil did not turn black and thicken up. In over 200 hours the oil stayed very clean. It used about 2 qts of oil during the summer. I do baby the machine (1967 350 c John Deere Dozer) I also used the gas addative in a 1987 chevy blazer it was a noticable increase in mileage (undetermined) and performance was noticable.
