Location: Bankhead National Forest (near Falkville, AL, about 55 miles southwest of Huntsville.
Availability: Year-round EXCEPT DURING TRAIL MAINTENANCE. Fee to Ride / $3.00 per vehicle.
Terrain:
Two, greater than ATV width loops
Total trail mileage 16 miles with an 11 mile loop (White trail) and a 5 mile loop (Red Trail)
Somewhat rocky in places, but also lots of sand
Big bermed corners and lots of straight-aways with alot of elevation change.
Easy trails and fun to ride fun but be watchful because of two-way traffic. BE CAREFUL around blind corners and over the tops of hills.
Great parking area with bathroom and easy access to trails!!
Great place for kids, beginner riders, or someone one looking for something different to ride
Directions: From AL HWY 157 turn south on Danville Rd (CR 41), 4 miles from HWY 157 there is a left bend in the road with a dirt road going west (Forest Service road 249), turn onto 249. At 3.7 miles you will pass Center church, the parking area is .8 miles past the church on the North side of the dirt road.
