The Mastercraft Courser HTR Plus SUV tire
Optimized Pitch Sequence by Size - Industry-wide, typically, the same pitch sequence is applied throughout a tire line. But the Courser HTR Plus varies the number of shoulder elements based on the tire size, which reduces noise frequency and allowing a quiet ride.
All-Season Tread - "See-through" grooves, wide, lateral traction slots and high sipe density provide excellent all-weather performance.
Rim Protector - A rubber rim protector extends beyond the rim flange and decreases the chance of rim damage that can occur if a tire/wheel assembly scuffs a curb.

Poor tread wear

The tires I purchased are size 255/65/16. I have them on my 2001 Dakota Quad Cab. They have very poor traction on damp pavement and will break loose fairly easy on dry pavement. I haven't had any problem with highdroplaning and haven't had them in snow. I have had the tires on for 30k with one rotation mid ways through and all four need to be replaced due to lack of tread.

Purchased because of price. I have had Mastercraft Courser HTR Plus 285/60/18 tires on Ford F150 Supercrew for 2 years with 28k miles on them now. Have had problems with traction from the beginning. Wheelspin in the wet is easily noticeable and often scary in this large of a truck. In 1" of snow last winter there was no chance of movement. On dry pavement when making a turn from a stop the sidewalls flex (I thought unusual on a 60 series tire) which causes traction loss. I would not recommend.

Have had these tires on my Jeep Liberty for approximately 4 years. Worse traction tire in snow I've ever had. Even when only a couple inches of snow, I back out of driveway and have a heck of a time going forward. The tires spin easily and when I finally get forward progress the back end wants to pass the front as I go down our residential street sideways.
Have gotten plain "stuck" in 6 inches of snow. On the highway I'm scared to death.
Mastercraft Courser HTR are an absolute waste of money.
