Iron Range OHV Recreatoin Area in Gilbert, Minnesota
Enjoy 1,200 acres and 36 miles of off-highway vehicle recreation in a north woods setting
This area was mined until 1981 and contains iron ore pits, ore stockpiles and tailings basins
Today the area provides riding opportunities for many skill levels on varied terrain
Features include recreational trails, scramble areas, training, and special events
Hours are 8 am to 1 hour before sunset.
May-October open 7 days a week.
Late November-April open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
Closed during firearms deer season
NOTE: Valid OHV License from state of residence required for all users
Check for temporary trail closings
