I bought this winch new in 1980 and used it for 29 years with only one cable change and it has done nothing but perform flawlessly. I am just now purchasing a wireless remote for it and looking for many more years of service.

Had my CE M12000 for about 4 years. Never once stalled it, even on a 6x4 Semi-tractor stuck in mud. You do need auxiliary batteries for this though, it will cook an alternator. With my custom receiver mount, it weighs about 200 lbs. You do have to be careful what you hook to, because it will rip a receiver hitch from the frame. The wireless remote is nice as well.
