Staun Internal Bead Lock
Staun Internal BeadLock - The Staun Internal Bead Lock holds both tire beads on the rim unlike conventional external bead locks that only hold one bead on the rim.
If you play in the dirt long enough, you will eventually encounter rim, tire, bead-related problems. Popping the beads off the rims is relatively commonplace. Another problem is spinning the tires on the rims. That results from too much traction and torque, and not enough friction between tire and rim due to low tire pressure. These annoyances are expected by the folks that regularly play on the Black Diamonds. Up until now, they counter these rim/tire/bead predicaments in several ways. However, Staun's BeadLock™ may make bead-related problems a thing of the past at any pressure.
The Staun Internal Bead Lock provides distribution completely over and around the wheel rim inside the tire, presenting no problems with wheel balance; and since it is inside the tire... it is unaffected by weather or damage by rocky terrain. The Staun Internal Bead Lock can easily be fitted to most one piece rims and tubeless tires.
Staun Products' pneumatic Internal BeadLocks keep the beads in place and tightly secure the tires to the rims. This means that you can run exactly the low pressure you want, with no fear of popping a bead or spinning the tire on the rim.
Staun Internal BeadLocks provide a way to lock both the inside and outside tire beads to the rim. No special rims are required. Staun has sizes to fit everything from 9 inch ATV/Quad rims to behemoth 19 inchers!

They work

Not as good as real beadlocks
I bought and used them for a season these after running with beadlocks for years. They work but I kept getting ribbed by my fellow wheelers for not running bead locks at such low air pressures. I'd always had to explain that they're in there. I also felt that the tires looks naked without my beads. Don't get me wrong, I thought they did a good job keeping the tire on the bead, I never had a popped bead with them. Plus I could run this beadlock on the road if I had drove to the trailhead without worry of being pulled over (we got laws aginst beadlocks in PA). But I trailer my rig most of the time so visible beadlocks are not an issue. O wanted by old beadlocks back so I'm back to "real" beadlocks again. Ahhh much better.

Pros:
They work great keeping the tire on the wheel.
Cons:
If there is any sharp edge in the material of the beadlock they pop.

I bought a set of staun beadlocks about a year ago and have replaced 4 tubes in the same wheel. I just sanded all the material edges in the fabric. if this doesn't work this time I will go back to steel beadlocks. They do an excellent job keeping the bead on the wheel. I think I just got one bad one in a million.

Not reliable
The idea is excellent. But our experience is that they are unreliable. We have had three stauns inner tube pop due to developing few holes. One tire got destroyed because the kevlar bag was defective and separated a seam. The bag scoured the inside of the tire and took off layers until the steel belts were exposed. All three failed beadlocks were on three different tires with very little offroad time and very little tire abuse. My wife drives this vehicle and she mostly commutes with it. A reputable and well-known 4x4 shop did all the installation and they cannot figure out what did this. I am extremely unhappy since we have made this investment.
