Lunch Time...
Unfortunately I didn't get the email which informed all that lunch was to
be packed for the trail, unlike last trip up here where we hit a local fast food joint.
Many thanks Mike I. who graciously provided Army Rations to my friend Carl and

One of the interesting things about this area was found here, on the banks of this
colorful lake. Fossils from the age of dinosaurs, mainly plant life such as ferns
were scattered all over this area. We spent a little time here splitting pieces of
shale, looking for nice specimens.
