Around mid-day, we broke for lunch in a
clearing above an interesting creek that emerged from a spring
at a rapid flow. As the group had lunch and hung out for
a little bit, we took a walk down to the spring and snapped
some pictures before hitting the trails again.
It's not that clear in the pictures as
to how much water is flowing out of this spring, but
it's enough to create a white-water rapids effect
that's too fast to cross on foot.
