The NV4500 is the ultimate manual transmission for a Jeep that is used on the street and on the trail. It has been used in Dodge trucks since the 90s. One advantage of the Dodge version of the NV4500 is some of them have 23 spline outputs and the same round bolt pattern that Jeeps use.

This is Darren's NV4500 from under while bolted to the bellhousing. Note the Advance Adapter tailhousing on the back and also the PTO cover on the right side. This is the 1996 4WD Dodge transmission with stock 23 spline output shaft. It's ready to bolt on a Dana 300. Photos by Darren Perkins.
