As everyone was gearing up to leave the park Chris was still playing around on one of the nearby pit walls. Unfortunately the rim of the pit was very granular and he just couldn't get over the top. While trying to back down he got too far to the left of his line and backed over a boulder. That was as far as it was going. With trees behind him and not enough traction to get back over the boulder going forward, it was time to winch out.
