Whoa!  While we were in the valley, up over the hill comes 2 C-130 Hercules aircrafts at tree top level.  We were able to get a few shots off (cameras that is) to capture the moment.  In light of this past week's events in New York, we knew what these guys were preparing for.  For more info on the C-130 Hercules click here.  Info courtesy of the USAF.

Trail fix.  Earlier while running though some deep ruts in a very sandy area, sand and dirt got jammed into the tire bead causing it to leak air from the bead.  The tire was jacked up and the air released enough to pry the bead back and remove some of the sand.  Enough to hold air for a while.  Later that night I removed all the air and pushed the tire bead back far enough to get to the sand but not push it off the bead of the rim and washed it away with water.
