This was interesting.  We usually cross these old, obsolete tracks while heading to trails on the southeastern side of the valley.  This time though it looks like they tore up the tracks as though they are making way for a mountain bike trail or hiking trail.  Just wide enough for a 4x4, we cruised up the tracks, enjoying the great view along the way.

We got to the end of our run where we'd connect to a known trail that would take us across the creek and up the other side of the valley.
