These tires are on a 85 Chevy plow truck and they work great in deep snow, really deep slush and even well in moderate mud. I've driven through over 2 feet of snow on the road with these tires and through over a 1ft of slush without a problem at all. But, the tread on these tires are as hard as a rock and they give you hardly and ice traction what so ever. The side lugs are too agressive causing for the truck in 4 wheel to want to dig into the shoulder of the road when you are out on nonseasonal roads during the winter. I have read that in lighter load and wider sizes that this tire actually performs pretty well. Just I know that I will be buying some different snow tires in the next few years. Michigan.
