Removing Vinyl Decals
The Address and Telephone Number have got to go.
Setting up the Cube Heater to do it's job of softening
the decals. The outside temp. was in the high 30's - I let it heat
for about 20 min. before starting. Rule of thumb - (if your
bare hand can stand the heat - so can your paint). Note - if
the outside temp. is in the 90's - you could easily skip this part.
Use your finger nails to gently lift the Decal back - once
they're started they peel like a banana.
This is what I call the "GUMMY GHOST" - I remove it
with a soft cloth saturated in good old WD-40.
The Job is done. Time to take the old bucket of bolts out
for a wash and wax.
