Description: Clay County 4x4 Club

This club was formed because we are tired of some of the highly biased clubs that are out there. The goal of this club is to provide an organized environment for our members and guests, and to do our part to help promote the sport and past time of four wheel drive travel in all phases. We want to enjoy and protect the natural resources and support the multiple use principal as applies to public land. It is a family oriented club so we act accordingly. We are based in Clay County Florida, close to Jacksonville, you do not have to reside in Clay County to be a member.

Our club will accept any type of 4x4 vehicle street legal or not. However, when we are on a ride that requires us to travel on county maintained roads, only the street legal vehicles can be allowed, unless arrangements have been made for transportation of unlicensed vehicles. We feel that just about any vehicle that is properly built can do amazing things with adequate driver skill.

Most of our trail vehicles are also our daily drivers so we understand if a driver doesn't want to risk his or her vehicle in any particular situation; however, if you never try anything new you will never know what the true capabilities you and your 4x4 are. Every vehicle will break something eventually so be prepared.

Some of our 4-wheeling is in the Ocala National Forest. We do adhere to the Tread Lightly rules to preserve our land and to keep it open for us and our children.

Anyone who participates in our rides must understand that scratches, dents and broken parts do happen, so you are driving at your own risk. No one will be forced to drive any particular obstacle, but there are those cases where there are no by-passes available, so be prepared.

There are no dues to become a member of our club. You must participate and then after a time period you will be asked to join. We highly recommend that you register and participate on our forums.
