Description: Southern Mississippi Jeep Club - SMJC

SMJC is located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. We are surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico as well as several national forests and rivers. Established August 1st 1995, SMJC continues to be a proud member of the United Four Wheel Drive Association and Tread Lightly.

Membership is free - to allow you to put all your extra money into your Jeep. The club promotes the sport of four wheel drive travel in all phases. We offer several events that members can participate in such as, camping trips, trail rides, Jeep jamborees, canoe trips, and car shows.

To become a member you must own a Jeep, attend three events, must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers license, and the Jeep must have the minimum insurance coverage prescribed by the state in which the Jeep is titled. Tow hooks front and rear of the Jeep are mandatory and a CB is highly recommended. All members must abide by Tread Lightly regulations. All members receive a SMJC window decal.

We invite anyone who owns a four wheel drive to ride with us on one condition… that they are in a Jeep!
