Central Alabama Offroad Society (C.A.O.S.) is a 4x4 club in the Birmingham, Alabama area. C.A.O.S. was established in October 1999 as a non-profit club of 4x4 enthusiasts to bring together and promote the interest of family four-wheeling. We strive to create a good image for four-wheelers and provide a family atmosphere.
We welcome most any type of 4x4 vehicle from bone stock to highly modified with the exception that no ATV's, Side by Side's, or motorcycles are allowed as the primary vehicle. Our members' rigs consist of everything from Suzuki's to full size trucks. C.A.O.S. has monthly meetings and trail rides and we would like to extend an invitation to anyone who is interested to come and join us on a ride or at a meeting.
We would also like to invite you to visit our Forums where we regularly hang out to share ideas, tips and even some ribbing from time to time. We have some interesting things going on most of the time in General Discussion, Off Topic, and if you're looking for a deal on a part, check out the For Sale Forums where you'll find both Vendors as well as Personals.
If you are a new member of CAOS, you'll need to let us know so you can be added into the "private" members only area(s) of the Forums where we conduct private club business and discuss issues pertinent to things such as the events we conduct yearly.
We have had some interesting things happen over the years such as making Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off Road magazine, being proud to be affiliated with one of the best ORV parks in Alabama, Gray Rock ORV, holding our own version of an "ultimate adventure" that turned out to be one of the best rides of the year and a host of other memorable rides and events. You see, we really like to have fun. No matter what our age, type of 4x4, or level of experience, we like to have fun!
Come to a meeting or ride to see for your self. You won't be sorry.
