custom console; 148 GTL (upper/lower sideband, attached to a Wilson 1000 mag-mount which
comes off when we hit the trail) Cobra 40 channel low profile CB attached to a 1/4
wave micro attenna (only 9 inches tall) with about a 2 mile range (great for low
branches), 2 inch block lift in the rear (to level out the truck when hauling equipment),
Complete undercoating of everything with Rustolium Gloss black heavy duty paint (done

light, Cell phone, First aid kit, Extra fluids (1.5 gallon engine oil, 2 gallon
antifreeze, brake fluid, power steering fluid, starter fluid, etc...), Chain Saw (gas and
extra blade), Electrical repair pack including multimeter, smaller hydrolic jack, four
6"x6"x12" wood blocks. Drinking water, food, Toilet paper, Army alice pack
with various emergency items including hand guns (we're in bear country). Coat hangers
(don't under estimate the power of the coat hanger), Duct tape and probably lots more that
I can't think of.
Comments:
Fun pickup with plenty of potential. Long wheel base makes for wider turns but
Toyota's 4x4s by design have a high ground clearance and anything that does hit is just a
skid plate or a heavy steel frame cross member.
